The Post-Dispatch NAMES MERAMEC VALLEY R-III SCHOOL DISTRICT
A WINNER OF THE ST. LOUIS TOP WORKPLACES 2019 AWARD

PACIFIC, MO, JUNE 23, 2019 – Meramec Valley R-III School District (MVR-III) has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2019 honor by The Post-Dispatch. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”

School Board president, Matt Trower, commented, “Our teachers, staff, administration, and school board have been working hard to build a positive climate and culture in our schools. We want school to be an engaging place where both students and staff are challenged, encouraged, and motivated to become life-long learners. Ultimately, we want MVR-III to be known as a school district loves its people while constantly raising the bar for innovation and achievement. We have more things we want to accomplish, but we are extremely proud to receive this honor.”

“Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy,” Claffey said. “It’s an achievement organizations have worked for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage. It’s a big deal.”
