Welcome Back Truman Tribe!
The first couple weeks of school will be spent setting up routines and expectations. As a school, we will be addressing our procedures and everyday protocols for our student leaders who exemplify these traits.
The Truman staff thanks you for entrusting your children with us. We welcome your partnership in their education. I look forward to seeing you all and getting to know your family throughout the year as we all become one tribe.
First Week of School
We encourage all students to ride the bus to and from school if that will be your students regular mode of transportation. Students need to meet their bus driver, get in the routine of those normal procedures starting their day off with our friendly bus drivers. Parents are welcome to meet their student at school after they arrive on the bus and walk your child to their classroom for the first week of school. At 8:35am., we will ask visitors to sign-out in the office and let students begin their day of learning.
Parking/Visitor Passes/Bus Transfers
It is the goal of the MVR3 School District to provide a safe environment for students. The district recognizes that rules regarding dismissal of students are a necessary part of the district’s safety program. Students are allowed one alternative address request, however, the address must be consistent. Pickup procedures and bus transfer forms will be handed out at Open House. All visitors must enter the school through the main office doors, obtain a visitor’s pass and sign in & out on the log. Students will be released through the office only.
The school day begins at 8:35 AM and will release at 3:40 PM.
