At their regular meeting on Tuesday, April 29, the School Board for the Special School District of St. Louis County named Dr. Jeff Haug as their next Chief Operating Officer. He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the Meramec Valley R-III School District and has been with the district since July 2017.
Prior to joining MVR-III, Dr. Haug served nine years as a building-level administrator and four years as an assistant superintendent. He has been actively involved at the local and state levels as a member of both the Missouri Association of School Business Officials and the Missouri Association of School Administrators, serving as the Secretary for the Greater St. Louis Association of School Business Officials and as a sitting member of the legislative committee for the Missouri Association of School Business Officials.
MVR-III Superintendent, Dr. John Mulford, noted, “During his time with the district, Dr. Haug’s leadership over our fiscal operations has resulted in the district being in a strong and stable financial position. This is especially important given the current economic conditions. We always hate to lose good people, be we are supportive of Dr. Haug’s efforts to advance his career and excited to see what the future holds for him as an educational leader in our area.”
