After many weeks of monitoring the situation surrounding COVID-19 and continued communication with local agencies, we are proceeding with Senior week and the Class of 2020 Commencement Ceremony. Masks are welcomed, encouraged, but not required. 

Below you will find a reminder of events scheduled for July 14th-July 19th, as well as any details needed for those dates/events.

Baccalaureate @ 7pm in the Auditorium

Senior Sunrise 6:30 am

Graduation Practice 8:30 am

Senior BBQ 11:30 am

*Seniors to report by 5:30 pm

Baccalaureate - Will be held in the PHS auditorium. The ceremony will begin at 7 pm, so please arrive a few minutes early.  Business casual attire.

Senior Sunrise - We will meet at the football field

Graduation Practice - Report to PHS Cafeteria for check-in. Mandatory for those who wish to walk at graduation.

Senior BBQ - Will follow graduation practice and will be held in the PHS Cafeteria

Senior Awards - Will be held in the PHS Main Gym

Prom - Will be held in the Auxiliary Gym.  Tickets can be purchased at the door.  Formal dress code applies.  Outside guest forms are still required. Masks are highly encouraged while dancing.

Commencement Ceremony - Will be held at the PHS Athletic Stadium.  

  • Gates will open 2 hours before the start of the event.  

  • Each family will be given 10 tickets for admission to the field level seating.  

  • Chairs on the field level will be in groups of 10 and are on a first come first serve basis. Each grouping of 10 chairs will be 6 feet from the next grouping in all directions.

  • Please do not move seats.  

  • The home bleachers will be available for general seating. Please note that some rows will be blocked off to allow for safe spacing.  

  • In the case of inclement weather on the scheduled date rather than move the ceremony inside as in the past, our plans are to move the ceremony date and time to ensure we can provide as much spacing as possible.  If needed we would move the graduation date and time in the following order: 

    • Saturday, July 18th @7 pm, 

    • Saturday, July 18th @10 am, 

    • Friday, July 16th @ 7pm, or 

    • Sunday, July 26th @7 pm.  

  • Again, these changes would only be made if we are unable to host the ceremony due to inclement weather.  

  • If you are in need of handicap access or transportation to the field from parking please inform the High School Main Office no later than the date of graduation practice, Thursday, July 16th.  

Additional Information - For all events during Senior Week, face masks are allowed, encouraged, but will not be required or provided.  Social distancing guidelines are encouraged at all times.  If you still need to sign up for an event please use the link provided below:
