New Beginnings Lutheran Church annually donates 150 turkeys and 150 packages of rolls to create Thanksgiving Meal Baskets for families in the Meramec Valley R-III School District. In past years, schools have hosted food drives to collect side items to supplement the Thanksgiving Meal Baskets. This year, the schools are working together with B&H Market, student leadership groups, and parents to collect the side items for the Thanksgiving Meal Baskets. Families willing and able to participate in this giving project have two options to donate; purchase a meal basket on display at B&H Market or send a $20 donation to your child’s school (checks made payable to your child’s school). All donations will be used to complete the Thanksgiving Meal Basket project. Our goal is to prepare 150 Thanksgiving Meal Baskets with all the fixings to bring joy to families in need during the upcoming holiday season.
