The Early College Partnership (ECP) is an early-entrance-to-college program located on the campus of St. Louis Community College (STLCC) – Wildwood. Depending on the pathway selected, students attend ECP full or part-time for one or two years, replacing traditional high school courses taken during the junior and or senior year(s). This is a message to the students and families of our PHS Hybrid and Virtual students. We greatly appreciate your patience as we have been finalizing schedules and finishing moving students around to balance classes. I know this has caused a delay in students picking up supplies we just wanted to be sure we were not having students pick up supplies and then their course or teacher change. While we are still doing some small adjustments we feel we are at a point where we can hand out supplies. ---100% Virtual---We will have two evening times available for 100% Virtual Students and then by appointment during the school day from that point. -Tuesday 9/1 from 4:00-6:00 pm (please come by the high school main office) -Wednesday 9/2 from 4:00-6:00 pm (please come by the high school main office) -During the school day from 8:30-2:00 pm (please call in advance) This will include text books school/class supplies and chrombook if you have not already done so. Please reach out to your teachers and ensure you are aware of what items you need or do not need for each of your classes. Please be prepared for a wait as we will be limiting the number of familes in the building at one time. ---Hybrid---For all of our Hybrid Students we ask that you make arrangements to pick up your needed supplies on the days/times that you are on-site. If this will conflict with your drive time to return home to log in for a class pleae notify the office and we will reach out to your teacher to ensure they work with you. MVR-III Fall Sports and Activities Guidelines... we want to inform our families and community of the Activity Spectator Guidelines and share our appreciation of your support in maintaining these guidelines to allow our students to safely participate in these activities. The Four Rivers Conference as a whole has made the following guidelines and recommendations in response to the COVID-19 pandemic that all 8 schools will follow regarding athletics for the 2020 Fall Sports season. The high school is working on providing live streaming access to student activities when seating is limited due to the safety guidelines. *Stadium capacity will be limited to 50%. *Families of student-athletes, as well as the student body, will have first priority for available tickets. *Spectators are asked to sit in family/household clusters. *Students 8th grade and under will not be admitted without being accompanied by a parent. *Keep 6 feet distance from other groups. Good evening families, Well the beginning of the school year is upon and as we prepare to welcome students tomorrow we wanted to reach out and provide some details that will help provide clarity. There is information included for Virtual, Hybrid, and In-Person students so please read carefully. -All students and guardians are able to view your students schedule by logging in to Tyler SIS and accessing either the student or parent portal. We suggest looking it over one more time as changes may have occured during our attempts to level out courses. Additionally, as stated before we will continue to evaluate and adjust schedules in the interest of spacing, class size, and student needs. -As a reminder all students staff and visitors will be required to wear a face covering when entering the building and throughout the day. We will be handing out 3 face coverings (two masks and one gaitor) to each student tomorrow but if they have one already please wear it to school in the morning to speed up the entry process. -Tomorrow will be a "Purple Day" which will mean we are following our odd schedule 1,3,5,7,9. -If a student is unable to log in to find their schedule they will need to report to the auxillary gym and wait to receive their schedule. -All students are eligible to receive a free breakfast each morning at school, to do so they will simply check in at the cafeteria. -Students will be able to request a locker during Academic Advisory over the next few days. We ask that students only request a locker if there is a true need. -Parking passes, Open Lunch, Picture Day Packets, and many other items will be going home with students over the next few days. Please be looking for forms that need to be filled out and returned to school. -Picture day for in person students will be this Friday 8/27/20 here at PHS -We are currently working on a date with all virtual/hybrid students distict wide which will be held at Central Office. When we have secured the dates and times we will send that information out. -As we have begun finalizing rosters teachers have begun gathering resources for our online and hybrid students. Over the next few days we will be contacting families to come pick up chromebooks, textbooks, etc. -Most importantly all students will be recieve a list of building and classroom guidelines tomorrow specific to how this year will work and look while COVID continues to be a concern. It is vital that these protocols are closely adhered to so that we can maximize the level of safety here at PHS. If you have any questions regarding our re-entry procedures please let us know Lastly, we wanted to thank you all for your continued support and patience. Picture day at PHS for in person students will be this Friday 8/27/20. Packets will be going home during Academic Advisory. We are still working to secure a date for our Virtual and Hybrid students to have their photo taken offsite.
Good evening, We wanted to inform our families about our upcoming chromebook handout/pick up at PHS. For students that will be attending in person for school this year. Students will be receiving their Chromebooks during the first few days of school. The Chromebooks will be brought to the classrooms and assigned to students. If a student did not return theirs at the end of the year drop off they will need to bring it to school as they will not have one to be issued. As a reminder for our students choosing to go Virtual (Hybrid or 100 percent), our Chromebook pick up will be Thursday 8/20 from 4-6 pm and Friday, 8/21 from 8 am-12 pm. If you student did not return theirs at the end of the year drop off they will need to have on to be issued to them. Additionally, we are still in the process of finalizing schedules and gathering additional supplies for virtual students. We will notify you when these items are ready for pick up. FREE food baskets today at Robertsville and Truman. The distribution station will only be open during their designated time and no food will be left at the distribution site. New Hope Fellowship will have volunteers and a refrigerated truck on-site to pass out the food boxes and direct traffic. Children don't have to be present during the pick-up, but it must be a parent or guardian unless the waiver is completed. The food boxes are free to families that have children 18 and under in the home. One gallon of milk is provided for EACH child in the home.

Class of 2020 Graduation Announcement- The rescheduled graduation ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, July 27th at 2 p.m. Gates will open at 12 p.m. Seniors should report to the cafeteria by 12:30 p.m. Families will be given a 1 row reservation tag. When the student's family arrives at the gate, they will be given the row reservation tag. The reservation tag should be placed on the row for the student's 10 guests; one family per row. General admission is permitted for guests to space out in the bleachers. Once seated, we ask guest to remain seated during the ceremony. Photographers will be taking photos of the ceremony and of the graduates receiving their diploma. Thank you

You must attend practice to walk at graduation. School appropriate attire. Students will receive their 10 graduation tickets for field-level seating. -Senior BBQ---Begins at 11:30 am. Food will be served in the cafeteria. Adults serving food will wear gloves and a mask. The hypnotist will be present at graduation practice and all participants must sign a waiver. -Awards Night---Doors open at 5:30 pm. Begins at 6:00 pm. Held in the PHS Main Gym. Business casual attire. Families will sit in the bleachers, students will be seated at floor level. Please try to limit guests to help ensure there is enough seating to allow for spacing. Sunday, July 19th- -Graduation---Gates open at 5:00 pm. Begins at 7:00 pm. Seniors must report at 5:30 pm to begin lineup for graduation. Each family will have 10 tickets for field-level admission for the ceremony. Additional seating is available in the home bleachers on a first come first serve basis.
Prom Safety Plan/Reminders Attention Students and Families, Please read over the following information regarding tonight’s Prom safety guidelines. The cost of entry is $20 which will be paid at the door. The attire for the evening is formal and school appropriate. Student’s temperatures will be checked upon entry. Any temperature over 100 will not be allowed to enter. The DJ will be operating from the corner of the gym separated from the students. The DJ will not be playing any slow dance songs. There will be a photo booth. It will be placed in the commons away from food and gym entry. We are not going to allow students to use props. The food will be located on the far backside of the cafeteria away from the traffic and dancing. The food will be served by an adult with gloves. The students are not allowed to get their own food. They will need to stay back from the food table. The tables are spread out on the cafeteria floor 10 feet apart. We will also have tables stationed on the entrance level to the school far away from the dance floor for those students who want to hang out in a safe place but not dance. The prom court stage will be located on the far side of the gym. Students will not be required to stay until coronation. Coronation has been moved up to 9 pm Hand sanitizer will be stationed at the main entrance, bathrooms, photo booth, and food line. Students will be limited to three at a time in any restroom. All adults supervising in close proximity to the students will wear a mask. Students are welcome and encouraged to wear their own masks. We look forward to seeing you there.
Commencement Ceremony (Graduation) Safety Plan/Details -Current date and time---Sunday, July 19th at 7:00 pm -Will be held at the PHS Athletic Stadium. Gates will open 2 hours before the start of the event. There will be separate entrances for field level and bleacher seating to minimize lines. Each family will be given 10 tickets for admission to the field level seating. Chairs on the field level will be in groups of 10 and are on a first come first serve basis. Each grouping of 10 chairs will be 6 feet from the next grouping in all directions. You do not need your entire party there to reserve your seats. Please do not move seats. The home bleachers will be available for general seating. Please note that some rows will be blocked off to allow for safe spacing. Once seated, please remain seated unless absolutely necessary. At this time the weather looks promising for the day of the ceremony and we fully anticipate it being held at the scheduled time. That being said, in the case of inclement weather on the scheduled date, rather than move the ceremony inside as in the past, our plans are to move the ceremony date and time to ensure we can provide as much spacing as possible. If needed we would move the graduation date and time in the following order: Saturday, July 18th @ 7 pm Saturday, July 18th @ 10 am Friday, July 17th @ 7 pm Sunday, July 26th @ 7 pm Again, these changes would only be made if we are unable to host the ceremony due to inclement weather. If you are in need of handicap access or transportation to the field from parking, please inform the High School Main Office no later than the date of graduation practice, Thursday, July 16th. Waters will be available for purchase at venues around the field. Masks are welcome and encouraged but will not be provided. Please practice social distancing when possible. Thank you all very much. Good afternoon, We wanted to reach out and provide details for those enrolled to attend July Summer School at PHS. First let me thank you for your patience as we have been working to finalize July details that will help ensure the safety of those attending. As a reminder the July session will begin Monday, July 6th and will run through Friday, July 31st. Classes run Monday-Friday from 7:30 am-11:30 am (Band and Athletic Development will follow the schedule sent out by their intructor/coach). Over the next few days your Summer School Teachers will be reaching out to you to give you information specific to their classes such as course specific requirements, locations, and break times. Students in credit recovery courses and the seated health classes will be required to attend in person each day and must notify the office if they are going to miss just like during a normal school year. Traditional Credit Courses (virtual courses taken for the first time) are only required to attend the first 2 days (July 6th and 7th) and the last day (July 31st) unless they struggle or fall behind. Also, we wanted to remind you that transportation is available for summer school. Details can be found on the district web page under the transportation link. If students need a chromebook and did not keep theirs at the end of the school year one will be checked out to them for the duration of summer school. As for safety precautions: -All students will enter the building through the Main Entrance -Students will be asked to report directly to their classrooms -Students should not bring backpacks. -Outside food can be brought in but must be brought in a disposable container -Students will only be allowed to use the water bottle filler stations located in the main lobby and at the end of the 400 hallway. All other water stations/fountains will be off limits. -Students will be released for breaks at schedule times to limit the numbers in common areas with time in between for sanitation -Masks are welcome and encouraged but will not be required or provided -Each classroom will have disinfectant available and hourly cleaning will be conducted of high contact areas -At the end of the day students must report directly to their bus -Students being picked up will be spaced out in the cafeteria until their ride arrives -Students will be instructed on safe hygiene and made aware of all required protocols during breaks I look foward to seeing all of you next week and if there are any questions please email me and we will do our best to answer any questions.

The signs may be picked up on Friday, May 22nd at Pacific High School after 9 a.m. Any remaining signs left at Pacific High School will be stored until graduation. News from PHS Counseling Office- PHS Summer School Application has been emailed to parents and students to enroll in the June session and the July session. All Summer School courses taken during the June session will be Online and the July session courses will be done at PHS or Online, according to the course requirements. Transportation will be provided for High School Summer School for the July session ONLY.
Ensuring all students have the technology and internet access they need to engage in online learning is an enormous challenge for school districts, especially those in rural areas with limited technology availability. Starting Saturday, April 18th, the MVR-III School District is offering free WiFi availability to students from the parking lots of Pacific High School and Coleman Elementary (lower parking lot). Parents and Students, If we have a full day of school tomorrow we will be proceeding with our planned Finals Schedule. The expectation will be for teachers to review final exam materials with students and then proceed with finals as planned. In the event that school is canceled for tomorrow or that we have a late start, we are preparing an alternate scenario and will provide information once a decision has been made. NOTE: All students that are enrolled in a dual credit or college placement course will be required to take a final regardless of our schedule as per the agreement we have with the University sponsoring the credits.
