It may have been delayed by weather for a week, but there was no stopping our MVR-III staff and students from participating in and celebrating the 7th Annual Special Education Field Day today. Established for special needs students across the district, the 2024 edition was coordinated by co-chairs Stacy Kloeppel, Cathy Bearden, Erin Tesar, and Jordan Garlik. Participants are matched with PHS student buddies, and they are free to experience stations on the stadium field for gross motor skills, sports, sensory areas, face painting, and much more. The Meramec Valley R-III School District is offering a 4-week summer learning program that includes hands-on STEM based games, activities, and free field trips for incoming K-8 students. Register your student using your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. If you do not have an Infinite Campus Parent Portal set up or are new to the district, please contact your school office for assistance. Summer Discovery is scheduled for Monday-Friday, June 3-28.
