Congratulations to Kellie Cowsert, Paraprofessional at Doris Hoffman Early Learning Center, for receiving the MVR-III Pillar Award for Community. 🎉

Kellie has played an instrumental role in creating meaningful opportunities for families to connect and engage, including helping launch the Early Learning Center’s first-ever PTO and coordinating events such as the Homecoming Parade, Trunk or Treat, and the Sweetheart Dance. Her commitment to fostering school spirit, supporting students and staff, and serving the broader community has made a lasting impact across the district.

From organizing family engagement activities to volunteering on the Citizen Committee for Prop S and helping ensure student safety each day, Kellie consistently brings people together and strengthens the sense of belonging that defines our schools.

Happy Independence Day! No School Friday, July 3rd!

All children 3-5 years old in the MVR-III School District are eligible to be screened once a school year. Children are screened in the areas of communications, gross motor, fine motor, problem solving, personal-social, hearing and vision. The screenings can provide valuable information on growth and development as well as early detection of potential problems which may prevent later difficulties in school. You do not need to be enrolled in P.A.T. to have your child screened. The screenings take place at the Doris Hoffman Early Learning Center and are FREE!

Doris Hoffman Early Learning Center is officially back on our home turf. After saying a sweet goodbye to the “Big Kid” playground at Zitzman, our students couldn't wait to jump, run, and play on our beautifully renovated playground—complete with brand-new, updated soft flooring!

We are so excited for endless days of safe, fun outdoor adventures.

After 28 years of service, we are celebrating the retirement of Robin Lavender-Mach, Early Childhood Special Education Teacher at Doris Hoffman Early Learning Center. 🤗

Robin's commitment to helping children reach important developmental milestones has left a lasting legacy within the school community.

There was no shortage of smiles during Water Day at Doris Hoffman Early Learning Center. Students stayed cool while enjoying the splash pad, exploring water tables, and sharing a special popsicle treat before heading back inside. 💜

Students at Doris Hoffman Early Learning Center have been making the most of their outdoor playtime while their playground is under construction. 💜

Thanks to Zitzman Elementary, students had the opportunity to enjoy the Purple Playground! Students had a wonderful time staying active with gross motor activities and outdoor play.

Waterplay Tomorrow!!!

Reminder: Free summer meals start Monday! 🤗

All community children ages 18 and under, as well as students attending summer school and SACC, are welcome to enjoy breakfast and lunch at no cost. Meals must be eaten on-site.

Doris Hoffman Early Learning Center, Coleman Elementary, Nike Elementary, Zitzman Elementary, and Pacific High School will serve meals Monday through Friday from June 1 through August 7. (These locations will be closed June 19 and July 1-3).

➡️ Breakfast: 7:00 to 7:30am at Pacific High School

➡️ Breakfast: 8:00 to 8:30am at Doris Hoffman Early Learning Center, Coleman Elementary, Nike Elementary, and Zitzman Elementary

➡️ Lunch: 11:30am to 12:00pm at Pacific High School

➡️ Lunch: 12:00 to 12:30pm at Doris Hoffman Early Learning Center, Coleman Elementary, Nike Elementary, and Zitzman Elementary

Pacific Intermediate and Riverbend Middle School will serve meals Monday through Friday, June 1-30. (These locations will be closed June 19).

➡️ Lunch: 11:30am to 12:00pm
