Last Day to buy your Cardinals baseball tickets!

Thank you to all voters who participated in the April 7 election and took the time to consider Prop S.
On Tuesday, the unofficial results for Prop S, the proposed no tax rate change bond issue for the Meramec Valley R-III School District, showed 56.5% voter approval, falling short of the 57.14% required for passage by 22 votes.
This outcome means we will not be moving forward at this time with plans to construct a new middle school or address the identified facility needs across our schools, including important safety and security upgrades.
The Board of Education and administration remain committed to exploring options to address the district’s facility needs. We will continue engaging with community members and staff as we determine next steps and evaluate future solutions.
We appreciate your continued support of our students, staff, and schools.

Doris Hoffman Early Learning Center was filled with smiles as we welcomed grandparents and special guests into the building. 🤗
Students shared their school day with some of their favorite people, from enjoying cookies together to coloring side-by-side and capturing memories at our photo opportunities.
We also had a special surprise, as one of our Board of Education members joined us to help spread school spirit and connect with our students and families!
Moments like these highlight the importance of family connections and the role they play in a child’s growth and wellbeing. 💜

Last week brought a little extra excitement to Doris Hoffman Early Learning Center as the playground was under construction for a new shade structure! ☀️
Students had a front-row seat to the action, turning the experience into real-world learning filled with curiosity about tools, teamwork, and safety.
While routines shifted, teachers made the most of every moment by creating new opportunities for outdoor exploration. Students enjoyed campus walks, snack time outside, tracing shadows, and practicing drawing and writing with sidewalk chalk.
What could have been a disruption became a meaningful time for creativity, learning, and connection! 💜
