Messy Play Day is one of our favorite days of the year!! We get to play bubbles, create a giant masterpiece, build with pool noodle blocks and shaving cream, splash in some water and enjoy sensory tubs full of everything from Legos to sand and dry beans! We all had a blast!!

Happy National School Nurse's Day!
The Doris Hoffman Early Learning Center is now accepting registrations for the Fall 2026 preschool program! 🎉
School begins Monday, August 24, 2026. Families can choose from several tuition-based options designed to fit different schedules:
✅ 5 full days: 8:15am-4:00pm for $180.00 per week
✅ 5 half-days: 8:15am-11:15am for $110.00 per week
✅ 3 full days: 8:15am-4:00pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for $108.00 per week
✅ 2 full days: 8:15am-4:00pm on Tuesday and Thursday for $72.00 per week
Breakfast is included for all students, and lunch is included for full-day programs. A $50 annual registration fee and a $100 deposit are required to secure placement.

Each month, teachers select students who demonstrate the value of the month, and in April, the focus is on being patient. These special gatherings offer time to share a meal, connect, and recognize how students are growing both academically and socially.
Students shared how they have practiced patience by waiting their turn, working through challenges, and showing understanding with friends.
These everyday moments are helping build important life skills! 👏

Students rotated through a variety of engaging activities, including bubbles, colorful sidewalk chalk creations, bikes and cozy coupes, parachute games, an obstacle course, and plenty of time on the playground.
A favorite for many students was the addition of two bounce houses, which brought nonstop excitement throughout the day!
A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers, district leaders, and staff who joined in on the fun and gave their time to help make this event possible. 💛

They explored the empty shells, asked thoughtful questions, and learned about how living things grow and change. Students also practiced gentle care as they held the chicks, showing responsibility and kindness throughout the experience.
