Tomorrow is PICTURE DAY!!!

MVR-III is excited to announce Dental Safari as our new mobile dental company. Dental Safari offers onsite dentistry with a wide range of services such as comprehensive oral evaluation, digital radiographs, cleaning, sealants, fluoride treatment, in class dental education, and onsite follow up restorative care if needed. Dental Safari focuses on child care at school and brings the office to the patient. Children can quickly visit the dentist and return to class, reducing the amount of missed class time.

Parents will need to complete a consent form to enroll their student for services. Consents forms were distributed at registrations and are also available online at www.DentalSafariForms.com. We look forward to partnering with Dental Safari at these upcoming building visits:

Sept. 10 - Robertsville Elementary
Sept. 11 - Coleman Elementary
Sept. 15-16 - Zitzman Elementary

Pre-K enrollment opportunities are still available for the Meramec Valley R-III School District, with free full-day sessions (based on household income) at both Nike Elementary and Coleman Elementary. Sessions run from 8:15 AM to 3:40 PM. To be eligible, your child must be four years old by July 31, 2025. MVR-III staff and students enjoyed the 8th Annual Special Education Field Day this morning. Established for special needs students across the district, the 2025 edition was coordinated by co-chairs Cathy Bearden, Stacy Kloeppel, Allison Daves, Jordan Garlik, and Kassie Nowak. This inclusive event is a community effort made possible through the hard work and assistance of our staff, high school students, and sponsors. Special thanks to Pacific Indians Sports Club, Franklin County United Way, R. H. 📢 Prop M for MVR-III – No Tax Increase Bond 📢 is on the April 8th ballot and will allow MVR-III to build a net zero ready school, lowering energy costs and serving as an educational tool to teach students about sustainability practices, all while potentially saving money on utility bills to be allocated to other facilities across the district: 🧱Like the 2021 Zitzman addition, the new middle school would be built with ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) walls that provide superior energy efficiency and increased strength & durability. ⬇️The Zitzman addition is using 39% less energy per square foot than the national average for K-12 school buildings. ⚡Energy usage at ZE is 34% less than the previous structure, which is a direct energy cost savings to MVR-III! 🗳️ Prop M is a NO Tax Increase investment in our students and schools.
