Ms. Miranda's Class enjoyed a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving celebration in their class this morning!
We finished up our last two weeks of learning about colors. Today was Black and White Day! We hope you have enjoyed seeing our class pictures and great participation we had at school!
Ms. Patty's class celebrated Brown Day yesterday and Gray Day today!
Ms. Dawn's and Ms. Cindi's class celebrated Orange and Green day in their classroom too!
Our color days continued. Tuesday was Orange Day!

DHELC celebrated Purple Day last Friday at school. On Monday classes celebrated Green Day. Classes have had a blast wearing special colors each day.
Just a reminder, we are on Thanksgiving Break beginning Monday, November 21- November 25, 2022. School will be back in session on Monday, November 28, 2022. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

During the next two weeks we are going to be working on colors. Help us by having your child wear a different color each day using the schedule below:

If your child doesn’t have any clothes in the colors that we are wearing on a particular day, don’t worry! We understand that not everyone will have clothing in every color. This is a fun way to help us learn colors and any day that your child is able to participate is appreciated.

DHELC had a great time celebrating Halloween at our Trunk or Treat! Everyone have a safe and Happy Halloween tonight!
Trunk or Treat is tomorrow night at DHELC from 5:30-6:30. If you are having your trunk in our event, please arrive at 5pm to begin setting up your space. We will be lining cars up in the back of the building and along the south end of the parking lot. If you are only coming to trunk or treat, we ask that you park either up in the Zitzman parking lot or in the PI parking lot and walk over. Please remember we have SACC students still in the building and our front spots need to remain open. We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night at this event.
We need your HELP! Our Trunk or Treat at DHELC is scheduled for Thursday, October 27th from 5:30-6:30 pm. At this time, we have very few trunks signed up. Please get in touch with your child's teacher if you would like to sign up and participate in this event. We hope to have a big turnout!!!
Just a reminder that tomorrow is Absentee/Retake Picture Day at DHELC. Wagner Portrait Group with be at school to photograph any students who were absent on the initial picture day, or any student that needs his/her picture retaken.
Reminder: Friday, October 7th is an early dismissal day for tuition, ADA and our full day SPED class. Students need to be picked up by 1:10 pm. If your child will be attending SACC for the remainder of the day, please note that you will not be able to access the building between 2-4 pm due to the parade route.
Please join us tomorrow in Hat Day at DHELC. Students may pay $1 to wear a hat all day at school. Proceeds will go to support Franklin County United Way.
