Marine Corp Ball

The Marine Corps birthday is November 10, 1775. Marines across the globe celebrate this day every year in a variety of different ways.  Sometimes they’re in a fighting hole in a far-off distant land eating an MRE (meal ready to eat), sometimes at a local gathering with a few other Marines, but most often in a nice venue such as the Aviator Resort ball room here in St Louis.

Working alongside the St Louis Marine Corps League our cadets provided the color guard and then fashioned vintage Marine uniforms during the pageant. Attendees included Morgan Cole, Miah Bonds, Annabelle Schneider, Ruby Jones, Chase Pechman, Peyton Laretto, and James Bolte.  It was a great evening.

Our cadets were commended on their precision execution in drill, as color guard and silent drill demonstration, as well as on being re-enactors in the pageant. The impressive manner in which these young people carry themselves should be commended.

Thank you to all of our men and women who have served or are serving our country. Happy Birthday United States Marine Corp.
