PHS Student Council (StuCo) was named a Gold Honor Council at this year’s State Convention. To receive this, they had to meet 15 requirements based on activities, community service, etc. They had to provide documentation of all activities. Not only did they receive the Gold Honor Council, but they were also recognized as one of 8 schools that had one of specific activity recognized during the ceremony at the state convention, which thrilled the students. They recognized us for all of the teacher appreciation efforts, specifically the StuCo sponsored water bar. They received a really nice plaque that they can add on to every year that they meet the qualifications for Honor Council.
