JAG Preparing for the Future

Students in the JAG Program at Pacific High School participated in an engaging, real-world lesson focused on mock interviewing skills. The Army National Guard visited the classroom to lead the experience, providing students with the opportunity to practice job interviews in a professional setting.

During the activity, students left the classroom to go into interview rooms and respond to questions with the National Guard while demonstrating key soft skills such as communication, confidence, and professionalism. Following each mock interview, the officers offered constructive, individualized feedback, helping students refine both their verbal responses and overall presentation.

This hands-on experience gave students valuable insight into what employers are looking for and helped build their confidence as they prepare for future career opportunities.
