JROTC

Pacific High School's Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps program was awarded their 13th Naval Honor School Award. The Naval Honor School award is presented annually to the top 10 to 15% of all Marine Corps programs worldwide. Criteria for selection includes cadet community service hours; drill & marksmanship competitions to include rankings; JROTC & Military Academy selections; student leadership positions within the school aside from JROTC; and award presentations to our cadets from local military organizations such as the VFW, the American Legion, the Purple Heart Association, and others.

Along with the Naval Honor School Award, JROTC has been awarded top Marine Corps JROTC Schools in the nation 13 out of the last 15 years.  Brian Cain, Senior Marine Instructor for the Pacific High School JROTC program states, "This recognition occurs because of our consolidated, focused, and disciplined team effort."
