Kindergarten at Robertsville had a busy week this past week. All throughout the week they learned about Johnny Appleseed while also going through ABC Bootcamp. We are so proud of their perseverance and eagerness to learn as they have been working hard to identify all 26 letters of the alphabet and their sounds. Thursday the entire school celebrated them by coming out in the hallways for a Kindergarten ABC fashion show!

Robertsville Elementary had two new students start today. 4th grade leaders, Kyler and Logan showed them around the school and made them feel welcome. I’m always a proud principal when I see this in action.

Today we held our first Character Cruise Boot Camp. Students heard about the expectations of a number of different spaces around the building. Our 4th grade students lead those conversations. We want to give our students voice and opportunities for leadership roles.

Every student at NE/RE summer school painted a "Kindness Rock" yesterday. All of the rocks were arranged around the flower bed in front of Nike. Great memories were made during Summer School this year!

Class meetings are a great way to build a positive classroom environment. Every student has a chance to have their voices heard. They also help when doing fun activities like painting rocks with kind words on them. Thanks Mrs. Thompson
