February 8th, 2024 was the 100th day of the school year for our students here at Robertsville Elementary. They had an awesome time! The outfits were amazing and everyone came together for a celebration at the end of the day. (There may have been staff dancing)

Students in Mrs. Wade's 2nd grade class have been learning about force and motion, conducting experiments to demonstrate that more force used results in objects moving greater distances. #MVNation

JAG students from PHS delivered caffeinated treats to Robertsville Elementary staff this morning. Thanks for keeping us going!

The Robertsville PTO did something wonderful this holiday season. They purchased, wrapped and delivered a board game for every student to take home before break. It was an effort to strengthen our home-to-school connection and engage our community. WOW!

We’ve had a great time getting into the holiday spirit by dressing for the occasion. These are just a few pictures of the students who participated.

Save the Date: PHS Cheer will host their annual Princess Ball at Pacific High School from 6:30-8:30 PM on Friday, Feb. 9th. All girls from preschool to 4th grade are invited. More details coming soon! #MVNation

2nd grade is reading Jellies the Life of a Jellyfish.
Nora (PHS alumna) is the vet tech at the St. Louis Aquarium. We did a virtual field trip and she explained all about the life cycle of a jellyfish. We saw two different species of jellyfish and learned even more.

Robertsville Elementary is very excited to share the addition of a new staff member. His name is Brutus Hill, and he is the therapy dog for our building. He spends most of his time in Mrs. Hill’s 4th grade class, but he regularly makes tours of the building with her to check up on everyone. The students in his class would like you to know how wonderful he is and how much just having him there helps them relax and focus on their tasks. Brutus has been in training to be a therapy dog since he was 12 weeks old, and now at 7 years of age he’s an old pro helping children and adults relieve their anxiety. Brutus loves his job. He even knows when he and Mrs. Hill are getting close to school and that he’ll see all of his friends soon! #MVNation

Susan Jahelka is a difference maker. She showed up to have lunch with a student on a day that she was not scheduled to work. Ms. Patti Fuller continues to provide a positive role model for all. Thank you both!

Our district and community are so generous. Robertsville Elementary believes we are ALL in this together. It was an honor to deliver Thanksgiving baskets once again this year.

Class pets are an opportunity for students to display responsibility. Robertsville 4th graders have 2 unique ones. Ellie and Tilly-Hedgehogs.

Kindergarten teacher Mr. Henley, consistently uses the University of Florida Literacy Institute (UFLI) resources. Here the students say the sound of the letter and Mr. Henley guesses which letter it is. You can't see student faces in the photo, but trust me they are smiliing.

Even though you have to practice writing and saying your letters…you can still have fun.

These dedicated ladies have done a tremendous job of connecting with students outside of the normal school day through the Spirit Squad. Special thanks to parent volunteer Jessica Blum as well.
