A Note From The Principal:
3 school year winds down, there are a few important dates to remember. Please note on the left, the last day of school is 5/25 and we will release students at 1:10pm.
We are excited to see the growth our students have made in reading and math. These kiddos have been working hard and their skills have grown so much since August.
As we wrap up this crazy school year, I want to take a moment to say thank you to the community, staff, parents, and students. I have witnessed firsthand the support for schools here in Pacific, MO. I have appreciated the parent involvement and had the pleasure of working hard along side the amazing students at Truman Elementary.
Our school and family partnership this year has focused on family events and involvement like STEAM Night, Family Bingo, PTO Trivia, and my favorite, One Book One School! Through our Book Blast Fundraiser we were able to focus in on literacy and the JOY in reading this year. Over the summer, keep your kiddos reading by visiting the local Pacific Library.
We are also offering our summer school program, Summer Discovery, at Truman Elementary - we have moved to a wait list but feel free to call Mrs. Emily in the office if you are interested.
