Students at Zitzman Elementary recently put their science skills to work with the Lysol MiniLab Kit. They explored the world of microbes, learned about the role of microbiologists, discussed germs and healthy habits, and discovered how science impacts our everyday lives. 🔬
To wrap up the lesson, students created their own microbe cards and built 3D microbe models, bringing their learning to life in a fun and creative way.

Thank you to all voters who participated in the April 7 election and took the time to consider Prop S.
On Tuesday, the unofficial results for Prop S, the proposed no tax rate change bond issue for the Meramec Valley R-III School District, showed 56.5% voter approval, falling short of the 57.14% required for passage by 22 votes.
This outcome means we will not be moving forward at this time with plans to construct a new middle school or address the identified facility needs across our schools, including important safety and security upgrades.
The Board of Education and administration remain committed to exploring options to address the district’s facility needs. We will continue engaging with community members and staff as we determine next steps and evaluate future solutions.
We appreciate your continued support of our students, staff, and schools.
