Pacific High School is currently exhibiting the Winter Trimester Art Show, featuring outstanding student artwork in the PHS Visual Arts Gallery! 🎨
The exhibit will remain on display through March 13, and community members are invited to view the collection in person or explore the virtual gallery online. We encourage our community to participate by voting for the pieces they believe deserve special recognition.

Children who turn five on or before August 1, 2026, are eligible to enroll. Registering early helps families receive timely information about screenings, school events, orientations, and important next steps.
How to get started:
➡️ Families new to MVR-III should contact the office of their assigned school Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. School staff will share guidance and a registration link to begin the enrollment process.
➡️ Families with students already attending MVR-III will complete kindergarten registration through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
➡️ Families whose children are not enrolled in MVR-III prekindergarten will need to schedule a kindergarten screening. To sign up for a kindergarten screening time, complete the online screening form: https://bit.ly/MVR3KDG

English II A students at Pacific High School recently participated in a fine arts gallery walk to deepen their understanding of Julius Caesar. 🎭
As they explored a variety of artistic depictions, students analyzed elements such as color palette, lighting, materials, facial expressions, and gestures. They then connected those observations to what they have learned about Caesar’s character through their reading of Shakespeare’s play.
This activity created thoughtful discussion as students brought literature and visual art together! 🎨

The Board of Education has approved an exciting expansion of Career and Technical Education opportunities at Pacific High School! 🎉
Starting in the 2026-27 school year, a new partnership with St. Louis Community College at the Wildwood campus will allow 11th and 12th grade students to participate in a half-day, dual-enrollment CTE Academy, helping them earn industry-recognized credentials and college degrees while still in high school.
Students will be able to explore multiple pathways, including:
👉 Advanced Manufacturing
👉 Cybersecurity
👉 Geospatial and Drone Piloting
👉 Health Science
👉 Software Development

Students in Mrs. Cowsert’s Bake Shop class at Pacific High School recently wrapped up their cake unit by putting their skills to the test! 🎂
Each student was paired with a PHS staff member, who placed a custom cake order. After meeting to discuss flavor, design, and decoration preferences, students baked, leveled, stacked, and decorated their cakes tailored to each request!

Pacific High School DECA students represented our community during Missouri DECA Legislation Day at the State Capitol! 👏
During their visit, students met directly with state representatives to share the importance of DECA as a Career and Technical Student Organization and to help ensure legislators are informed about the program and the Perkins Funds that support it.
This annual opportunity helps students build confidence, advocacy skills, and a deeper understanding of civic engagement. 🏛️

Members of the Pacific High School Art Club participated in “A Celebration of Local Art,” an art show hosted at the Pacific Scenic Regional Library on Friday, February 6! 🎨
The event, organized by Alison Heisler, adult programmer for the Pacific Scenic Regional Library, showcased student artwork alongside pieces from accomplished adult artists across the St. Louis regional area.
Several PHS alumni were also featured, highlighting the lasting impact of the school’s art program within the community. 💜
