MVR-III Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week 2024
Throughout this past Appreciation Week, MVR-III has recognized and honored the efforts of our excellent teachers and staff. Hear what #MVNation has to say about the people who do what’s best for kids on a daily basis in our district! Watch the video at https://youtu.be/7YhvSKEzz1Q.

Spring 2024 has seen loads of personal and school records in track, a historic start to the girls soccer season, an undefeated Four Rivers Conference championship for baseball, and two 2nd Team All-Conference golfers. Cheer on our student-athletes as they head into post-season play this weekend and beyond! SAT 5/11 - Track Districts at Northwest HS & Girls Soccer Districts at Washington HS, and WED 5/15 - Baseball Districts at Parkway Central HS. #MVNation

The baseball game for this evening is canceled. Also, there will be no after school practices today.

Teacher Appreciation Week: May 6-10
Thanks to all of the wonderful PHS Teachers for all they do every day for our students!

It may have been delayed by weather for a week, but there was no stopping our MVR-III staff and students from participating in and celebrating the 7th Annual Special Education Field Day today. Established for special needs students across the district, the 2024 edition was coordinated by co-chairs Stacy Kloeppel, Cathy Bearden, Erin Tesar, and Jordan Garlik. Participants are matched with PHS student buddies, and they are free to experience stations on the stadium field for gross motor skills, sports, sensory areas, face painting, and much more. The outpouring of care and support from staff, students, volunteers, and sponsors makes #MVNation second to none! Video: https://youtu.be/0cyQdjLk5tg

Congratulations to our JROTC marksmanship team as they finished their season with an impressive 2nd place team finish loosing only to last year’s national champion.
Pacific JROTC senior and team captain Malissa Dailey finished individually first overall, and Ella Stock, Annabelle Schneider, and Carter Casey finished in the top ten out of nearly 100 other competitors.
Nice job JROTC, and thanks for a great season!

Pacific Girls Soccer ends the 1st half up 2-1 over Parkway West!

Congratulations Peytan McKinney on her first-place finish in welding at the Missouri Skills competition that was held on April 5th at Linn Tech college.
Peytan spent many hours preparing for the competition. Not only by creating her sculpture, which took 115 hours, but also by preparing many necessary items that help prepare her for life after high school. These items included mock job interviews, building a resume, and journaling her project throughout the process for her presentation binder.
Peytan finished with a first-place title and received an invitation to attend SkillsUSA Nationals in June to represent Missouri in Atlanta Georgia.
