Congratulations to our JROTC marksmanship team as they finished their season with an impressive 2nd place team finish loosing only to last year’s national champion. Pacific JROTC senior and team captain Malissa Dailey finished individually first overall, and Ella Stock, Annabelle Schneider, and Carter Casey finished in the top ten out of nearly 100 other competitors. Nice job JROTC, and thanks for a great season!

Congratulations Peytan McKinney on her first-place finish in welding at the Missouri Skills competition that was held on April 5th at Linn Tech college. Peytan spent many hours preparing for the competition. Not only by creating her sculpture, which took 115 hours, but also by preparing many necessary items that help prepare her for life after high school. These items included mock job interviews, building a resume, and journaling her project throughout the process for her presentation binder. Peytan finished with a first-place title and received an invitation to attend SkillsUSA Nationals in June to represent Missouri in Atlanta Georgia. Courtesy of Carmen Akins

Congratulations to Pacific High School Senior Noelle Nahm. She has recently been selected as the recipient of the University of Missouri-St. Louis Opportunity Scholars Program scholarship. With this, she will receive a full four-year scholarship to the University! Way to go!

Last weekend, the 12 DECA members that qualified for the state career development conference traveled to Kansas City to compete against over 2000 students from across Missouri. Luke Gerling and Luke Meyer both received Gold Medals for top 10 in Project Management Business Solutions. Heading on to the International Competition in Anaheim, California, are Gabby Guenzler as our Leadership Delegate and Kyra Shaffer in Professional Selling with a top 5 finish! #MVNation
