Pacific Intermediate students put their collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills to work during the Marshmallow Challenge!
Working in teams, students were challenged to build the tallest freestanding structure using only spaghetti, tape, string, and a marshmallow. Along the way, they shared ideas, listened to teammates, tested their designs, learned from setbacks, and worked together toward a common goal. 💪

Pacific Intermediate's hallways turned into a flight test zone during a hands-on STEM challenge! 🚀
Students designed, constructed, launched, and graphed paper rockets before analyzing their flight data. Using what they learned, they made strategic modifications such as adjusting rocket length, adding fins, and testing different materials to improve performance and maximize distance.
By combining math, science, and problem-solving, students explored the engineering design process while discovering how small changes can lead to big results!

Recently, students at Pacific Intermediate got creative with a tie-dye project, mixing vibrant colors to design their own unique shirts for upcoming trips. 🎨
If your student came home with a little extra color on their hands, it was a sure sign of a fun-filled day and some great memories in the making.
