The Meramec Valley R-III School District has named Alison McAtee as the next principal of Pacific Intermediate School.
Mrs. McAtee has served the MVR-III School District since 2003 and has been assistant principal at Pacific Intermediate since 2023. She brings more than 20 years of experience in education, including roles as a secondary instructional coach, English language arts teacher, teacher of the deaf, and speech implementer.
Throughout her career, Mrs. McAtee has focused on strengthening instruction through teacher mentorship and ensuring students of all abilities are supported in the classroom. She has presented at the Missouri Powerful Learning Conference and the Missouri Learning Forward Conference, and is a graduate of the Teacher Academy for Character Education. In addition, she has participated in Character-Based Discipline training and the dLace leadership program.
Mrs. McAtee holds multiple advanced degrees in education and educational leadership, along with multiple professional certifications. She is pursuing a Doctor of Education in leadership in teaching and learning at Missouri Baptist University, with anticipated completion in May 2027.

Mrs. McAtee will succeed Mr. Matt Agee, who is retiring after 22 years of service to the Meramec Valley R-III School District. We are grateful for Mr. Agee’s leadership and his commitment to the students and staff at Pacific Intermediate throughout his tenure
The Board of Education approved Mrs. McAtee to begin her new role in July, leading Pacific Intermediate into the upcoming school year.
