In celebration of Fire Prevention Week, Coleman Elementary had a visit from Boles Fire District today. Firefighters spoke to our students about fire safety. Make sure your family has an emergency plan and your smoke detectors are in working order.










A few of our students participated in PHS Cheer Camp and capped it off with a great performance on Friday night. Great job Warriors cheering the PHS Indians to a win.

On this day we thank the people who keep our school looking great and safe for our students. The first ones to open the school in the morning and the last ones to leave at night. Thank you to our custodians. We greatly appreciate everything you do.

Despite the rain, 3rd Grade had a great time on their field trip last Friday. They visited Daniel Boone’s home, discovered different types of animal signs, experienced what school was like long ago at the one room schoolhouse, and learned all about wood work. It was definitely different back in the day. So glad our students have this opportunity.

Muffins with the Mayor
Students in 2nd grade had a special guest on Friday. Mayor Heather Filley came to speak to our students about her job and what responsibilities she has as mayor of Pacific. Students were eager and had questions all prepared ahead of time. Thank you Mayor Filley









First grade had perfect weather for their field trip to Shaw’s Nature Reserve yesterday. The kids really enjoyed their adventure and learning how we can use our five senses in nature.










Our fall mum fundraiser flowers were just delivered. So many beautiful colors. Thank you to our events team for helping to set them out.

Reminder that mum pickup is tomorrow, Wednesday, September 25th. Mums may be picked up in the front of the building from 2-6pm.
3rd graders finished their first unit, Classic Tales in Reading. To celebrate students had a tea party and watched Wind in the Willows, a classic tale they had read. Students were so excited to dress up and have tea.



Our first United Way fundraiser starts this Thursday.
