Mrs. Fingers' preschool class had a great time on their field trip to Heartland Farms. The kids went on their first school bus ride, picked out a pumpkin, visited the farm animals, played in the corn pit and on the slides. So much fun!

Second grade has officially finished Domain 3 in Knowledge: “Ancient Greek Civilizations”! To celebrate all they’ve learned about the Olympic Games, they hosted their very own Potato Olympics!
From “dancing” to “gymnastics ,” students had a blast showing off their teamwork and creativity — just like the ancient Greeks! 🇬🇷🏅
Last week, Ms. Mathew's third grade class participated in a fun pumpkin math activity. Students had a fun time guessing how many seeds their pumpkin had. They sorted the seeds into groups of 10 for easy counting.. then realized there was a lot more than they thought!
It was a "Spooktacular" Halloween Yesterday! So many cute, creative, and scary costumes. Students and staff had a great time.

Difference Makers this week are Natalie, Lillian, Eva, Jensen, Otto, Aubree, Blair, and Isabella.
These students were recognized for making safe choices on the bus, being good leaders, and choosing to help a friend in need rather than playing a game. Go Warriors!
1st grade students visited the St. Louis Science Center and experienced hands on learning in Earth Sciences, Energy, Life Science Lab, Game Xploration, and made structures through engineering and construction!
They explored hydroponics and careers in indoor growing industries. So many fun things to do!
Today, our students and staff kicked off Red Ribbon Week by wearing red.
We also had a visit from Deputy Stack and police dog, Kilo. They helped kick off RRW by speaking with the kids about healthy choices and what Kilo does for his job.

When Mr. Savage came to Ms. Mathew's room for his weekly check in, the students persuaded him to stay for a little while.
Mr. Savage read from their Social Studies magazine and taught them about the Statue of Liberty and Lady Justice. They loved to have him as a special guest reader!
Congratulations to Justin, Macey, Luke, River, and Hunter. These students are being highlighted this week for demonstrating Responsibility, Kindness, Teamwork, and using Problem Solving.

It's School Bus Safety Week!
Last week, our students participated in bus evacuations. Bus drivers demonstrated to students what they need to do in case of an emergency. Students learned how to use the radio, where the emergency exits are located, and practiced exiting the bus.
Last week, our 3rd grade traveled to the historic Daniel Boone Home in Defiance, Missouri. Students and teachers had first hand experience in what pioneer living was like back in the day. They learned about wood working, the different types of animal tracks and furs, and experienced what school was like long ago in a one room schoolhouse.
Monster Fest is next Saturday, Oct 25, 2025. Trick or Treat on St. Louis Street (between 1st & 4th) from 2-5 PM in a safe & friendly environment for everyone! Monster Fest was created so that everyone can trick-or-treat, no matter where they live. Students and staff had a great time at the Homecoming Parade yesterday. Our "Scooby Doo" video game float was a huge success. So many cute costumes, everyone really got into their character.

At Coleman, 3rd and 4th grade students have the opportunity to apply for leadership roles. A few of these include assisting in the art and lunch room, library aides, morning announcements, and flag bearers. Students learn responsibility, collaboration, citizenship, gain confidence, and become more engaged learners. #MVR3Success
