Riverbend Middle School is excited to announce a special holiday initiative! This season, we are collecting items to send to an army infantry unit stationed overseas. This unit holds a special place in our hearts as it includes the son of one of our incredible staff members. Let’s come together as a community to brighten their Christmas and show our appreciation for their service. Thank you for supporting this heartfelt mission!
Some of the items you can find this Saturday at the Riverbend Middle School Craft Fair!

MVR-III students and staff are stepping up to support families impacted by the flood! From lending a helping hand to offering supplies, our community is stronger together. Proud to see #MVNation coming together in a time of need. ❤️ #Service #Community #MVNation #DifferenceMakers @CharacterPlus @character.org
Our thoughts are with each of you as we navigate the flooding affecting our community. To prioritize the safety of our students and staff, the Meramec Valley R-III School District will be closed on Thursday, November 7th, and Friday, November 8th.
During this challenging time, we encourage our staff who are able or willing to volunteer to lend a hand to neighbors, help with sandbagging, or join cleanup efforts once the waters recede. Together, our community will emerge stronger by supporting one another.
On Monday, November 4th, Riverbend student council members attended the South Central District Student Council conference. They participated in workshops focused on strengthening leadership skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. The students also collaborated with peers from other schools.
