Yesterday, Nike Scouts returned to class and got back into school routines. At the end of the day, students attended the Monthly School-Wide Character Assembly and reviewed Nike's four Core Values! Dr. Tollison and her student leaders explained how we can show RESPECT, how we can COLLABORATE with others, how we can THINK CRITICALLY, and how we can PERSEVERE in difficult situations.
Several students were recognized for being positive role models in our school and for working towards their goals. Thank you, Scouts, and.. Way To Go!!! 💜

All 4th grade students across MVR-III recently worked through the JuniorAchievement BizTown program during social studies, focusing on different aspects of economics & business. They also learned about the rights & responsibilities of citizens, job interests & skills, and STEM careers. At the end of the unit, students had the opportunity to go to JA BizTown on a field trip. They were given the chance to vote, work at a business, make a profit, and make purchases at other businesses.
