Nike has a great turnout for Kindergarten Round Up. These eager soon to be kindergarteners went on a scavenger hunt in the building, went on a school bus, checked out their classrooms, and met some Nike teachers. Thank you to all of the family that attended our Nike Round Up! #MVNation

The MVR-III Special Education Department holds an annual field day, and this year students at each building will have a superhero-themed shirt to represent their specific school. Nike has some amazing Scouts who had perfect attendance for February! We are very proud of them.

Students at Nike Elementary got a visit from a dairy cow this morning! We would like to thank the STL Dairy Council for funding this visit with Louise, who came all the way from The Southland Dairy Farmers Mobile Classroom. Nike is 1 of 48 schools receiving this fun visit over the next few months. We enjoyed our time with Louise, but she must be MOO-ving on! 🐄

In March, we would like to recognize Youth Art Month and Music In Our Schools Month! Nike Elementary is very fortunate to have 2 amazing teachers in these areas. A big THANK YOU goes out to Mrs. Patterson and Mrs. Fenelon for sharing their passion and expertise with our students! With their guidance, our Scouts get to explore and express their creative sides!! #MVNation

Much to celebrate on this First Day of March! Students snd staff wrapped up their Dr. Seuss Week by wearing the color green!! At our school-wide assembly, Nike Scouts learned about Communication, our next Pillar Word of the Month. A few students received Perfect Attendance for the entire 2nd Trimester and many students were awarded with Positive Office Referrals. Keep up the great work, Scouts!! 💜 #MVNation

A huge thank you to Nike PTO for organizing dinner for Nike staff on PT conference night. PTO ordered Subway and our Nike parents signed up to bring in desserts, sides, and drinks. Nike staff is very appreciative of our caring community! #mvnation

Two Kindergarten items for MVR-III families: KDG Registration is Now Open, & KDG Roundup is set for Wednesday, March 13. Families with other students currently attending MVR-III will register new kindergarteners through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Haven’t set up your Parent Portal? No Problem! Just call your building office for next steps. Families new to the district should begin registration by contacting the office of their assigned school, and staff will provide a link via email to complete the process.
