Nike Scouts have showed love for their pets by having photos displayed at school and today we showed our care for our teachers & friends by exchanging Valentine cards. What a great time to practice our Pillar Word of the Month: Respectfulness.

Tonight began STEAM Club at Nike Elementary School. Third and fourth grade students began creating a robotic arm! We are excited to see the creative projects students make in STEAM this year! #mvnation

Second graders were sharing their writing with their classmates. They wrote about their favorite sport, breakfast, or holiday. Ask your second grader about their favorite thing.

Nike will be celebrating a few exciting things this week!
Our Scouts can participate in a district-wide Super Bowl Spirit Week, as well as, dressing up for our 100th & 101st days of school. On Thursday, students may dress up like a 100 year old. On Friday, students may dress up like one of the 101 Dalmatians.
We are looking forward to seeing our Scouts in some fun gear this week!

During today's school-wide assembly, Nike Scouts exhibited some great manners, as they were super quiet, calm, and ready to listen. Mrs. Tollison even said that it would be very hard for her to pick the class for the "Best Assembly Manners" award. This all tied in nicely with our new Pillar Word of the Month: Respectfulness.
Congrats to our students who received Positive Office Referrals, as well. We are so proud of each and every one of our Scouts!!
Kindergarteners were enjoying a lot of fruits and vegetables today at lunch! They loved their apples, broccoli, kiwi, carrots, and oranges.
