Incoming freshmen football players, there will be a meeting for players and parents in the football meeting room (next to the weight room) on Thursday, May 16, 7pm. We will cover expectations, share calendars and get incoming players signed up for varsity BAND and HUDL. The front doors of the school will be open. It may have been delayed by weather for a week, but there was no stopping our MVR-III staff and students from participating in and celebrating the 7th Annual Special Education Field Day today. Established for special needs students across the district, the 2024 edition was coordinated by co-chairs Stacy Kloeppel, Cathy Bearden, Erin Tesar, and Jordan Garlik. Participants are matched with PHS student buddies, and they are free to experience stations on the stadium field for gross motor skills, sports, sensory areas, face painting, and much more. FACS students participated in a cupcake decorating contest today. The theme was beach/ocean. There was a lot of creativity demonstrated by students! Congrats Kenzy and Katie for being our top two winners!

Riverbend Middle School students participated in the 2nd Annual Student Skills Day on April 24th. Twenty-six area businesses and individuals came to the school to showcase their knowledge to students. Students learned about budgeting, first aid, where our food comes from, how to use a fire extinguisher, how to change a flat tire, car detailing, gardening body care, entrepreneurship, and so much more! We appreciate these businesses giving up their time for our students!
