U.S. Constitution

In honor of U.S. Constitution Day, students around the Meramec Valley R-III School District have been observing and recognizing the importance of that document.  Fourth grade students at Zitzman Elementary took a field trip to Independence Hall a National Park in Philadelphia, PA.  The field trip was made possible with the use of Virtual Reality Google Goggles.  On the virtual field trip, students learned about the U.S. Constitution.  Key concepts of the lesson included identification of the Bill of Rights and the purpose of the Constitution.  The Virtual Reality Goggles exposed students to the world outside of the classroom while not leaving their school campus.  Goggle Expedition Experience
