New PI Assistant Principal

Pacific Intermediate will start the 2023-24 school year with a new assistant principal. Mrs. Alison McAtee, current Secondary Instructional Coach, was approved during the April Board of Education meeting to fill this role. She will replace Mr. Josh Grodie, who has moved within the district to serve as the Director of Special Education.

Mrs. McAtee has worked in the Meramec Valley School District since 2005 as a Speech Implementer, Teacher of the Deaf, English Teacher, and most recently Instructional Coach. Mrs. McAtee is a graduate of Missouri Baptist University, where she earned her Master’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education Administration, a Bachelor’s Degree in Deaf Education, and is currently seeking an Educational Specialist Degree in Administration.

Pacific Intermediate Principal Mr. Matt Agee said, "I've been lucky to work with Mrs. McAtee professionally for the last 7 years.  I've seen first-hand her passion for students and her drive for high quality instruction.  She will be a fantastic resource to continue the school’s academic and emotional support of the students of Pacific Intermediate."
