The Meramec Valley R-III Board of Education approved Penney Nieder as the new assistant principal at Pacific High School for the 2025-2026 academic year. Ms. Nieder will succeed Jeff Hermann, who is retiring in June of this year after his dedicated years of service to Pacific High School.
Ms. Nieder comes to Pacific High School from the Warren County R-III School District, where she currently serves as assistant principal. Her professional background also includes experience as a summer school principal, counselor, special educator, and middle school teacher.
In expressing her excitement, Ms. Nieder stated, “I am beyond thrilled to join the MVR-III team at Pacific High School! I am particularly drawn to the school’s belief that ‘What we focus on grows,’ and I am eager to contribute to and learn from this exceptional school community.”
Ms. Nieder holds a Masters in Educational Leadership, Masters in School Counseling, and a Bachelors in Music Therapy Education.
Pacific High School faculty and staff recently welcomed Ms. Nieder during their end-of-year Professional Development session, marking an initial step in the transition for the upcoming school year.
