The Meramec Valley R-III School District has launched a new partnership with Central Methodist University’s C3 Program, an initiative designed to help paraprofessionals and teacher aides/paraprofessionals to earn a bachelor’s degree in education and obtain full Missouri teaching certification.
Through the partnership, district paraprofessionals and aides will have access to an accelerated pathway supported by CMU academic advising and program tracking. The goal is to help interested staff members complete their degrees and enter the teaching profession as efficiently as possible.
To support candidates throughout their apprenticeship, the district is also seeking qualified teachers to serve as mentors.
C3 stands for Central Career Changers. The partnership reflects a growing commitment to supporting professional growth and strengthening the future educator workforce throughout MVR-III schools.
