Jordan Garlin next Pacific Intermediate Assistant Principal

The Meramec Valley R-III School District Board of Education approved Jordan Garlik as the next assistant principal at Pacific Intermediate for the 2026-27 school year.

Garlik currently serves as a special education teacher at Pacific High School and brings nearly 10 years of experience working with students across multiple grade levels. She has been with the district since beginning her career in 2016.

In addition to her classroom experience, Garlik has participated in the district’s MV Aspiring Leadership Academy, a selective two-year program designed to prepare educators for administrative roles. Through the program, participants engage in both building- and district-level leadership experiences and support administrative functions. Graduates are eligible to serve in roles such as administrator substitutes, summer school administrators, and district committee leaders.

Garlik holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and special education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Missouri Baptist University, and an educational specialist degree in educational leadership from Northwest Missouri State University.

"Pacific Intermediate is thrilled to welcome Mrs. Garlik as the new assistant principal,” said incoming Pacific Intermediate Principal Alison McAtee. “She brings a wealth of expertise and innovative instructional strategies that cater to all learners. Her commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment makes her an asset to our staff, our students, and the Pacific community."

Garlik will begin serving in her new role in July 2026.
