PACIFIC, MO (June 26, 2022) - During the regularly scheduled June School Board meeting, Mr. Ryan Gregory was hired to serve as the principal of Doris Hoffman Early Learning Center for the 2022-23 school year. Mr. Gregory will be replacing Dr. Stephanie Bechard who has been with the district for seven years. Dr. Bechard will be moving to Maplewood Richmond Heights School District as their new Federal Programs Coordinator.
Mr. Gregory possesses a Bachelor’s degree Early Childhood and Special Education, a Masters in Educational Leadership, and is currently working on his Doctorate with Indiana University. He is coming to Meramec Valley from Lincoln County R-III School District where he served as a special education teacher and was a candidate in their ASPIRE Administration Program. Prior to becoming a teacher, Mr. Gregory served as an early childhood paraprofessional.
Mr. Gregory will begin his new role in the district on July 1st. Doris Hoffman Early Learning Center families are invited to join Mr. Gregory on Tuesday, July 26th from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. for Popsicles with the Principal. The event will give parents and students an opportunity to meet Mr. Gregory while enjoying a summer treat.
