Turkey Challenge 2022 - New Beginnings Lutheran Church and MVR-III have teamed up for the 16th year to donate Thanksgiving meals to families in our community. Families in the district donate the canned food, desserts, and sides for the meal, while New Beginnings donates the turkeys. This year, over 175 families will receive a Thanksgiving Meal Basket. Over the years, the Turkey Challenge has provided 2,400 meal baskets to MVR-III families. We are thankful for the generosity of the church, the donors, and the student and staff volunteers for making this annual event a success. #MVNation

The Operation Shoebox website provided a template to make the drawstring bags for soldiers, who will then use them to carry their personal care items to and from the shower. #DifferenceMakers #MVNation
