F3 (Fitness, Fellowship, Faith) has over 100 workout locations in the greater STL area, and one meets in Pacific at the Community Park on Mon/Thurs at 5:15 AM. F3 is a free, all men's workout group with 5 core principles: Free, Open to All Men, Held Outdoors, Peer Lead, and Ends in a Circle of Trust. All ages and fitness levels welcome! Coleman Elem 3rd & 4th graders recently started “Kicking It Multiplication.” A special guest taekwondo instructor taught students about goal-setting, discipline, perseverance, & respect. They practiced moves, breaking blocks, and the black belt stance. What a great opportunity!




Pacific High School launched a Student Internship Program today, partnering with local businesses and organizations to provide high-quality, age-appropriate, work-based learning opportunities to juniors and seniors. Students may apply through Jan. 26, and accepted candidates will begin their internships Feb. 27. Possibilities include interning with ADB Companies, Bank Star, Boles Fire Protection District, The Hawthorne Inn, Missouri S&T, and others. Carson, a 3rd grader at Nike Elem, has been a #DifferenceMaker by helping keep the school clean. Carson helps Mr. Mike clean up after lunch and has been spotted picking up & throwing away litter in the hallways. His efforts are making an impression on other students as well!

Riverbend Middle School students in Mrs. Vogt's Culture and Language class recently researched a famous Spanish person, creating informational posters that were hung in the hallway. The class then did a gallery walk and used sticky notes to leave positive comments on the posters. In this new elective, students have also studied different cultural aspects of French and Spanish. #MVNation

Coleman Elementary students in Ms. Griffin's 1st grade class have been visited by the Kindness Elf. This Elf is special because it encourages and challenges the students to find ways to practice kindness. Activities have included singing a holiday song for the office staff, showing appreciation to our custodian, Mr. Adams, complementing one another, and sharing ways to be kind during circle time. Each day, the students are so excited to hear what they will be doing next! #MVNation




Pacific Intermediate sixth-grade reading students in Mrs. O’Neill’s class, who have been reading the novel Hatchet by Gary Paulson, participated in a STEM activity this week to build a shelter that would protect the main character from the rain, snow, wind, and wild animals.

Join PHS JAG students for their upcoming series of Cyber Seniors starting on January 9 hosted in cooperation with First State Community Bank in their private meeting space. These sessions will take place every Tuesday from 12:15 to 1:15 pm during the month of January.
Empowering our senior community with technology support is the goal of Cyber Senior Training. During the series, guests will be provided support with navigating devices such as cell phones, tablets, and laptops, covering essentials like contacts, emails, and texts, along with guidance on social media. Parents, grandparents, and local seniors looking to enhance their tech skills are welcome to join.
