Elementary teachers attended Make and Take PD sessions last week. Each grade level had someone gather resources, so teachers could prep them for their students. Teachers made activities in the areas of geometry, data & statistics, and number sense, and they assembled various reading tasks that will coordinate with our new literacy training program (LETRS).

FREE EVENT–Pacific High School Student Council members stuffed 300 backpacks for Saturday’s Back-To-School Bash. New shoes, clothing vouchers, gift cards and more are ready to be distributed to MVR-III students. Additionally, kids in attendance can get their picture taken with a Dream Time Princess, enjoy a donut, and get their face painted. Join us for the August 6th Back-to-School Bash from 8-11a.m. at Pacific High School. The event will supply MVR-III students with a backpack, hygiene supplies, basic school supplies, a new pair of shoes, and additional resources, while supplies last.
Families that complete the Free/Reduced Meal Application on site will earn a gift certificate (1 per family) sponsored by New Hope Fellowship Church, while supplies last.
