Elementary teachers attended Make and Take PD sessions last week. Each grade level had someone gather resources, so teachers could prep them for their students. Teachers made activities in the areas of geometry, data & statistics, and number sense, and they assembled various reading tasks that will coordinate with our new literacy training program (LETRS).

FREE EVENT–Pacific High School Student Council members stuffed 300 backpacks for Saturday’s Back-To-School Bash. New shoes, clothing vouchers, gift cards and more are ready to be distributed to MVR-III students. Families that complete the Free/Reduced Meal Application on site will earn a gift certificate (1 per family) sponsored by New Hope Fellowship Church, while supplies last.

Nearly 50 members of the MVR-III District Leadership Team met on Tuesday, July 19, to prepare for the 2022-23 school year. Discussion centered around developing best practices for building-level Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and Problem-Solving Data Teams. These two areas were a focus of the High Reliability Schools training that administrators attended the week prior.
