It's Education Support Professionals Day! The Meramec Valley R-III School District is thankful for the dedicated employees that fill the role of education support professionals. These folks assist teachers, office personnel, administrators, bus drivers, cooks, and most importantly, our students. Please help these employees feel appreciated today!

The District is hosting a winter apparel store for the community to shop for Pacific Indian items. This store has a variety of brands, including unisex, mens, womens, and youth sizes. Please mark the school where you want the items to be shipped.

Fourth grade students in MVR-III are visiting BizTown to learn how to operate banks, manage restaurants, write checks, and vote for mayor. Additionally, students learned the different roles they play as citizens, workers, & consumers in their city. #Learning #Community #MVNation

The Masonic Lodge #173 of Gray Summit donated $1,500 to Coleman Elementary to purchase coats, shoes, & essential items for students. The Pacific Partnership is hosting its annual Monster Fest event on St. Louis Street in downtown Pacific on Saturday, Oct. 30th from 6-8 p.m. This is a free family event for the community.

Parents Caught Being Difference Makers~~Allison Sauceda is a new member to the Robertsville Elementary Parent Teacher Organization. She took the initiative to plan the school’s recent Halloween Festival for students and families. Callia Thomas, veteran PTO member, continues to serve as the organization’s secretary. Congratulations PHS Athletes! Collin Haley, Nick Hunkins, and Katie Prada earned 1st Team All Conference Honors at the Four Rivers Conference Cross Country Meet. Softball Four Rivers All Conference 1st Team is Molly Prichard and Trinity Brandhorst, 2nd Team is Bella Walker, Hannah Duggan, and Brooklyn Kittrell. Four Rivers All Conference Honorable Mention for Softball goes to Bri Swinford and Jaylynn Miller.

Honk! the musical is coming to Pacific High School. The theater students will perform their first show FREE of charge for area senior citizens on Tuesday, October 26th at 4 p.m. in the PHS Auditorium. Regular show times are Thursday through Saturday, October 28-30th at 7 p.m. with the final public showing on Sunday, October 31st at 3 p.m. Tickets may be purchased through the BOOKTIX Website: https://phsmo.booktix.com. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
School bus transportation plays an important role in the education of our students and is the direct link between a neighborhood and the classroom. Bus Safety Week serves as a reminder for students, parents, and the community to keep school bus safety in the forefront. #MVNation
