Next week, MVR-III superintendent, Dr. John Mulford, will host parent informational sessions regarding district plans for the coming school year. He will detail the major components of the re-entry plan and provide opportunity for questions. All informational sessions will be held in the PHS auditorium. The rescheduled PHS graduation information is now available on the District website under the News section. #Classof2020 #MVNation

We regret to inform you that the storm cells continue to hit our area for the remainder of the evening. Our hope was to hold the graduation ceremony this evening, but there isn’t a window of opportunity for tonight. The graduation ceremony is rescheduled for Sunday, July 26th at 2 p.m. There will be a backup indoor plan in the case we face inclement weather. Information regarding the rescheduled ceremony will be sent to parents this week. We appreciate your patience as we prepare to honor our graduating seniors.

We are committed to hosting a graduation ceremony. Your patience is appreciated as we wait out the storm. Our estimated time for the gate to reopen is between 9-9:30 p.m. We are bringing in food for our graduates. Families are welcome to leave and return for the ceremony. The ceremony is being adjusted to focus on awarding our seniors their diploma. We will continue to postpone up until 10 pm if the weather permits a ceremony this evening. After 10 pm the ceremony will move to next Sunday. We will continue to update you on the when the gates are officially opening.

PHS graduation guests, we plan to wait out the storm and hold the ceremony. In the meantime, we ask that you take shelter in your vehicles due to lightning in the area. Once the weather breaks, we will notify everyone and allow a minimum of 30 minutes for people to return to the stadium.

We ask that all guests attending the PHS graduation ceremony wait in their vehicle until the weather passes. A notification will be made when guests may return to the field for the ceremony.

Graduation Information--At this time, we plan on proceeding with the graduation ceremony as scheduled at 7pm. However if needed, we will delay the start to wait out the weather. If we need to leave the field & stadium because of rain or lightning, we ask that you return to your vehicles and wait for further communication. #MVNation #Classof2020
