This year, Zitzman Elementary participated in the Traveling Mural Project in an effort to connect with other school communities around the world. Each student (and even a few teachers!) designed a circle to be included on our school-wide mural. We then kept one section of the mural and distributed the others to participating schools from New York all the way to South Korea. We are extremely grateful to be able to join in on this culturally enriching program. #MVNation #GrowingTogether

With Kindergarten registration opening soon, now is a great time to take a look at what some of our current KDG students are experiencing. Mrs. O’Halloran and Ms. Jones’ classes had a farm day to celebrate the end of their unit. Activities included a scavenger hunt, farmers' market, sensory bins, & more. Our Kindergarten "farmers" harvested carrots to make consonant-vowel-consonant words, matched numbers to farm animals, & sorted upper & lowercase letters. #MVNation #GrowingTogether
