From eye-catching artwork to top-notch ROTC precision, Pacific High School students showcased their diverse abilities last weekend. Over 400 high school works of art were submitted to the St. Louis Artists' Guild annual Young Artist Showcase. Only about 150 were chosen, and 4 of those were by PHS students. Seniors Brook Liepart, Dria Adams, & Trenton Meier and junior Bryan Stogsdill will have their artwork on display at the gallery (12 Jackson Avenue, Clayton, MO) for the month of March. If you have time, check it out! Also, the PHS Marine Corps JROTC took 1st Place Overall at the 2025 Central Campus Drill Meet in Iowa. Cadets placed 1st in Armed Exhibition, Inspection, & New Cadet, and 2nd in Armed Regulation, Unarmed Regulation, & Color Guard. Well done, #MVNation!

Passage of Proposition M will positively impact every student in the MVR-III School District. This No Tax Increase bond issue will provide funds for a new 7th/8th grade building and provide a better learning space for students in grades 5 & 6. Upon completion of a new middle school, this project would immediately affect over 800 students in grades 5 - 8. However, all future students at grades 4 and below would ultimately benefit from the improved learning spaces provided by Prop M. #MVNation #MovingForwardTogether

Zitzman students recently took time to celebrate their 2nd trimester progress. The day kicked off with an awards assembly, recognizing students chosen by their peers for demonstrating our 4 pillars: respect, responsibility, communication, and citizenship. Teachers also honored students who embodied our district's additional pillars of resilience, critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. The celebration continued with goal setting, Gus' Pretzels, puzzle fun, and flower creations for our school-wide collaborative art project. It was a fantastic day of recognition and fun! 💜✨ #root&rise #MVNation #GrowingTogether

Nike Elementary 2nd graders took a leadership role in a whole-school service-learning project this month.
Watch the video at https://youtu.be/o4mu8UQ0A6w
They worked hard to organize and run a Stuffed Animal Drive, which helped the "Jail Buddies" program of the Franklin County Sheriff's Department. This program allows officers to gift stuffed animals to children they encounter in traumatic situations. Students learned about the benefits of this program and discussed the importance of giving back to their community. From creating posters and advertising this project to collecting, counting, cleaning, and even graphing the donation numbers, these Nike Scouts did an amazing job. Through their efforts, Nike Elementary was able to acquire close to 700 stuffed animals! A school-wide assembly was held to hand over these donations to Sergeant Perkins of the Franklin County Sheriff's Department. We are so proud of our 2nd graders for leading the way and making a difference! #MVNation #GrowingTogether

At Pacific Intermediate, our 6th-grade math students are actively engaging with equations through hands-on learning experiences. They participated in a scavenger hunt and equations activities that not only reinforced their understanding but also got them moving around the room and made math enjoyable. This approach fosters critical thinking and collaboration among students.

Fuel your weekend AND support local students! Don't miss out on the Pacific Eagles Barbeque (707 W. Congress) this Saturday, Feb. 22, from 11 AM - 3 PM (or until sold out). All proceeds benefit the MVR-III school lunch program! #MVNation
