MVR-III is excited to announce Dental Safari as our new mobile dental company. Dental Safari offers onsite dentistry with a wide range of services such as comprehensive oral evaluation, digital radiographs, cleaning, sealants, fluoride treatment, in class dental education, and onsite follow up restorative care if needed. Dental Safari focuses on child care at school and brings the office to the patient. Children can quickly visit the dentist and return to class, reducing the amount of missed class time.
Parents will need to complete a consent form to enroll their student for services. Consents forms were distributed at registrations and are also available online at www.DentalSafariForms.com. We look forward to partnering with Dental Safari at these upcoming building visits:
Pre-K enrollment opportunities are still available for the Meramec Valley R-III School District, with free full-day sessions (based on household income) at both Nike Elementary and Coleman Elementary. Sessions run from 8:15 AM to 3:40 PM. To be eligible, your child must be four years old by July 31, 2025. Get ready for a new tradition! Join the MVR-III school district for the inaugural "Bridging the Future" event on Friday, September 5th, at halftime of the PHS varsity football game. This special event will bring together our Class of 2038 & Class of 2026. Kindergartners will meet the seniors in the middle of the field, where they will receive a gift to officially welcome them to the district. We ask that all participants wear purple to show their school spirit! All schools will be in session tomorrow, Wednesday, August 20th. If available, please send your student with a filled water bottle. The district will also provide bottled water for those who need it. The Meramec Valley R-III School District is incredibly proud to recognize the Pacific Eagles Aerie 3843 with a 2025 MVR-III Partnership Award for their tremendous, unwavering support. For over 35 years, the Eagles have been a cornerstone in ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed by following their motto; people helping people.
Their profound impact is evident in a multitude of ways: they've consistently provided student scholarships for Girls and Boys State, offered college scholarships to PHS graduates, and held holiday toy drives in conjunction with the NEA. In recent years, their generosity has been particularly impactful, with donations exceeding $70,000 to the district's food program, ensuring all students receive meals at school by holding an annual BBQ fundraising event.
It is through partnerships like the Pacific Eagles that the Meramec Valley School District can continue to build a strong foundation for student success. Their long-standing commitment and significant contributions truly embody the spirit of community partnership.

Community partners are vital to student success, and MVR-III is proud to recognize Sarah Summers of Pacific Farm Bureau Insurance Agency with one of the 2025 MVR-III Partnership Awards. Sarah's impactful collaboration with MVR-III schools began as a PTO member. It was during this time that she worked alongside a school counselor and principal to launch the Weekend Backpack Program at a single school, a critical initiative that now provides support to all MVR-III schools.
Beyond this foundational program, Sarah consistently extends her support to extracurricular activities, notably connecting the PHS Cheer Program with valuable fundraising opportunities through the annual Pacific Car Show. Most recently, Sarah has spearheaded the "Friends of Pacific Football" banner project, which not only highlights local businesses around the PHS stadium each season but also generates funds for the football program.
We honor Sarah's extensive contributions, from initiating the vital Weekend Backpack Program to her ongoing and dedicated support of Meramec Valley programs and activities. Her commitment exemplifies the power of community partnership in enriching our students' lives.
